Step-1. How to open webmail

a.       Goto http://www.bijoy.net

b.      Click webmail ( at left side of the page )

OR,

c.       Goto http://zmail.bijoy.net

d.      Input your Username (like user@domain.com )and password ( see image-1 )

Step-2. How to Compose New email

a.      Open webmail with your Username and Password.

b.      Go to Mail Tab

c.      Click New Button ( See image-2 )

d.      After clicking New Button, 1. You can send mail, 2. Save mail as draft, 3.add attachment from and 4. Check your spelling from here ( See image-3)

Step-3. How to change Password.

a.      Goto Preference and click change password button. See general tab selected, at left side( See image-4 )

Step-4: How to change webpage mode ajax/html

 

Description: Webpage mode means, if you have low bandwidth you can select html to open the webmail as normal html based website, ajax mode is little heavy if you have high bandwidth you can select Ajax mode, this is default mode.

 

a.      Goto Preference and see the highlited arrow. ( see image-5 )

Step-5: Check for new mail arrival, time setup.

a.      Goto preference à select mail tab (at left side) à see the highlighted arrow marked as no 1 at image-6

Step-6: Change  Email format HTML or TEXT

a.      Goto preference à select mail tab (at left side) à see the highlighted arrow marked as no 2 at image-6

Step-7: How to forward a mail.

a.      Goto preference à select mail tab (at left side) à see the highlighted arrow marked as no 1 at image-7, input email address where the mail to forward.

Step-8: How to send Notification after new mail arrives.

a.      Goto preference à select mail tab (at left side) à see the highlighted arrow marked as no 2 at image-7, input email address where the notification mail to send.

Step-9: How to Setup Auto Reply or out of Office message.

a.      Goto preference à select mail tab (at left side) à see the highlighted arrow marked as no 3 at image-7, To Enable Auto reply, check the checkbox and input “out of office message” at text box, select the start and end date when to start and end this message.

Step-10. How to block and allow mail from specific address.

a.      Go to preference à select mail tab (at left side) à go to the Junk Mail Option at bottom of the page, enter the email address to block mail at text box labeled as “Block messages from” and click the respective add button, and to allow mail from specific address enter the email address at text box labeled as “Allow messages from” and click the respective add button.

Step-11. Compose Email as HTML or TEXT.

a.      Go to preference à select composing tab (at left side) à see compose label highlighted at right side. ( See image-9 )

Step-12. How to add Email Signature.

a.      Go to preference à select Signatures tab (at left side) à add your signature and click the save button.

Step-13. How to Filter Mail.

Description:

Sometime we get some unexpected email, from unknown addresses, and with various unexpected headings at subject, like, Viagra, sex, adult etc. We can completely filter those emails. We can filter email based on from where it comes (From), to whom the mail destined (To), or if any email mentioned at CC field or, if Subject Contains any word and after defining the filtering condition, we can take decision what we can do if condition matches, we can discard or avoid the email, we can move that mail to another folder or junk folder, or we can forward that email to another address.

To learn filter usage, please follow the instruction.

a.      Go to preference à select Filters tab (at left side) à Click “New Filter” (at right side) ( see image 12 )

b.      After clicking the “New Filter” Button you will get a form like this. see image 13

To create a Rule like, if any mail comes with the word Viagra at subject line, we will discard/denied to receive it. To create this Rule.

1.      Input your “Filter name”  like “My First Filter”

2.      Click Arrow Marked Button 1à Choose “Subject”

3.      Click Arrow Marked Button 2 à Choose “Contains” à after that Enter the Word “Viagra”.

4.      Click Arrow Marked Button 3 à Choose “Discard”.

** you can create multiple Rule to take action on multiple condition. To play multiple Rule please deselect the checkbox labeled “Do not process additional filters” from every rule. And make sure all rules are Active check box selected marked at image 14
