How to Configure Outlook 2007 to get Mail From Zimbra

Configure your outlook  by following the images below.

 

a.      Open OutLook 2007 à Tools à Options. ( image-1)

b.      At Options Dialog Box à Go to “Mail Setup”  Tab (Marked) à Click “Email Accounts” button (Marked) à At “Account Settings” Dialog box à Click “New” (Marked) ( See image-2)

c.      At “Auto Account Setup “Form à “Tick” the Checkbox labeled as “Manually Configure Server Settings or Additional Server types” (Marked) (See Image-3)à Click Next.

d.      Now “Choose E-mail Service” Form will appear (Image 4) Choose Internet E-mail à Click Next

e.      Now “Internet E-mail Settings” Form Will Appear. Here, Input your account Information.

 

1.      Your Name = Mr.Munna ( For Example)

2.      Your Email Address       = munna@bijoy.net ( for example)

3.      Account Type = POP

4.      Incoming Mail Server  = zmail.bijoy.net

5.      Outgoing Mail Server = smtp.bijoy.net

6.      User Name = your email address ( used for actual login to your account)

7.      Password = your password.

f.        Click Next to Finish the “Add New E-mail Account Dialog Box” see image-6
